Hi There, I'm Amelia...

As a teen fresh into the workforce, I found my passion for merchandising at a local woman’s clothing boutique. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a degree in Visual Merchandising & Design, I completed a summer internship with Nordstrom and acquired a full time position as a visual merchandiser. I spent the next eight years designing store layouts, installing window displays, and analyzing the effect that visual presentation has on sales. I also had the opportunity to travel across the country to participate in several store grand openings and remodels. After taking a few years off to grow my family with my amazing husband, I am back in the merchandising game and ready to help your business put its best foot forward!

What is Visual Merchandising?

Customers often base their first impressions on what they see. This is why the field of visual merchandising can play a crucial role in enhancing the appeal, atmosphere and customer experience inside of a store. Effective visual merchandising transforms an environment into an extension of a brand's image. Visual merchandising is the practice of organizing and displaying products in a retail space. It is used to highlight products and their features, gain customers' attention, make customers feel comfortable and promote sales.
